Henrietta, Texas: The Whys?

Welcome!  Henrietta is a city and the county seat for Clay County, Texas.  Henrietta is located at the intersection of Highway 287 and Highway 82, just 18 miles East of Wichita Falls, 95 miles North of Forth Worth, and 120 miles from Dallas.  Henrietta is one of the oldest towns in north central Texas.

If you plan visiting Henrietta, please visit its 1890 Jail Museum in its Historical Downtown.  Henrietta house the Clay County courthouse that was built in 1884, which is still in use today.  It is a beautiful courthouse.

Henrietta have community events all year round like the Turkey Fest every April, great for outdoor sportsman and the Annual Clay County Pioneer Reunion & Rodeo every September where the town is practically close for the event.  For more information about Henrietta community events please visit the Henrietta and Clay County Chambers of Commerce website at www.hccchamber.org.

Henrietta, has a population of 3000+ and has 139 small businesses by zoom prospector demographics.  Henrietta is one of the best places to raise your family.  "The Whys?"   Because Henrietta have its own ISD that ranks high in Texas (Go Bearcats!).  Henrietta have a hospital (Clay County Memorial Hospital), that provides its community the best healthcare available. Henrietta, house the Clay County Sheriff's Department, meaning very low crime rate.  Henrietta have seven places to eat and dine, plus a new Best Western Henrietta Inn and Suite, that makes family accommodation easy.  Henrietta have seven churches for your family's spiritual needs.  Henrietta have four banks, a baseball park,  two picnic grounds, a city pool, a wellness center and its own Henrietta Fire Station.  But my two WHYS are; Henrietta is safe and Henrietta is very friendly.
